Terms & privacy
Sandline is in beta. This page says plainly what we collect, what we don't, and why — no legalese.
What we collect
- Your email address and a securely hashed password. Required to create and sign into your account during the beta.
- Usage counts tied to your account — how many times you trace, download, run Auto-tune, or remove a background. This lets us run the beta and see what's actually used. It's visible only to the site administrator.
What we never collect
- Your images. Tracing runs entirely in your browser. Your image is never uploaded to our server. (One exception below.)
- Your Anthropic API key, if you use the optional Auto-tune feature. It's stored only in your browser and sent directly to Anthropic — our server never sees it or stores it.
- Your password in plain text. We store a one-way cryptographic hash. Even we can't read it back.
The one exception: Auto-tune
If you choose to use Auto-tune with your own Anthropic API key, your source image and the traced result are sent directly from your browser to Anthropic's API, so Claude can compare the two and suggest adjustments. That request never passes through Sandline's server — but it does leave your browser, governed by Anthropic's own privacy policy. Auto-tune is entirely optional. Skip it, and your images never leave your device.
Who can see your data
Only the site administrator. We do not sell or share your account or usage data with any third party.
Your signup email
Doubles as the one-time notification list for when Sandline Pro ships. That's the only thing it's used for — no other marketing email.
This is a beta
Features, pricing, and this page may change as Sandline Pro launches. The service is provided as-is during the beta, with no uptime guarantees.
